“Contrapunten”: a poetic & visual dialogue

Contrapunten is a refined Dutch artist’s book born from the collaboration between visual artist Cees Andriessen and poet Willem van Toorn.
A rhythmic interplay of abstract woodcuts and lyrical poetry, the book explores the subtle tension and harmony between image and word.

Presented in a custom-made wooden sleeve, Contrapunten is both a literary treasure and a tactile art object—an elegant addition to any collection of contemporary Dutch art and poetry.
